A very large and strong growing snowdrop with well-proportioned flowers which sit below stiffly upright spathes. The flowers have ridged outer segments and the thick outer petals are of good substance. The inner segments are marked top and bottom with crisply defined, dark green zones.

This probable hybrid of plicatus x nivalis is very strong growing and often makes two scapes when large bulbs are well established.

Found in 1994 by Daphne Chappell at Sutton Court in Herefordshire.
